I am licensed to practice psychotherapy as a Licensed Professional Counselor (Okahoma, license #4972) and as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I am also a National Certified Counselor, an international Certified Clinical Traumatologist, and a Certified Compassion Fatigue Educator.
I love connecting with and understanding people, and I believe that we all have something to offer one another. Everybody is making a difference in the lives of others and the world, even when they don’t realize it. I try to be mindful of that and I encourage my clients to do the same.
As I know that reaching out for help can be difficult and that it can feel scary to be vulnerable, I work to create a comfortable, peaceful, and accepting environment for my clients. We are all just humans living life together and nobody should have to feel any shame, judgment or fear about reaching out for support when they need it. I am inspired by my clients everyday. They are doing the hard work as they are moving forward through it, and not away from it. Change and progress take time, and I help others appreciate and celebrate each tiny little step forward. Life is a journey and there will never be a moment where any of us wake up and know we definitely have everything together. I believe that we should always meet ourselves where we are at.
In my personal time I enjoy time with the people that I love, live music, traveling, and being in the sun. I try to live life remembering that every day is a new day and also that it could always be anybody’s last.
